Pulvex currently has two types of 420mm diamond cutting discs that are suitable for the IQ dry cutting masonry saw. As with all diamond blades, it is vital to match the right blade for the materials being cut and the two varieties of blades on offer should cover most requirements.
Equipped with Pulvex's “Double Q” centre bore, there is the 420 P1-IQA, abrasive materials blade that is suitable for cutting low strength concrete block and softer, abrasive block pavers. The important thing with this particular blade is that it is able to cut these materials quickly & efficiently but not wear out too quickly, something Pulvex is happy that it can achieve. Of the two blades it is easily identified as the red blade.
Also equipped with the Double Q bore but also a silenced core (which makes cutting a lot quieter) the 420 P1-IQH, hard materials diamond disc is suitable for harder, more dense block such as Tobermore & Brett's Invicta range. Easily identified as the blue blade, customers have been delighted with the performance of this diamond blade in harder materials.
